Travelling to Beaconsfield by car

Beaconsfield is just off Junction 2 of the M40 motorway. The town has two distinct parts - the New Town and the Old Town. Arriving by car from the motorway will bring you to the Old Town.

Our Mock CEM 11 Plus Test venue, The Fitzwilliams Centre, is located in Beaconsfield Old Town centre. It is located behind the church of St Mary and All Saints. In normal traffic, it is a 3-minute drive from Junction 2 of the motorway (see map below).

Travelling to Beaconsfield by train

Trains from London

Trains from London to Beaconsfield leave from London Marylebone Railway Station. There are normally 3 trains per hour, so you can just turn up at the station and wait for the next train. The fastest trains take 22 minutes; the average time is 30 minutes. Trains arrive at Beaconsfield Train Station in Beaconsfield town centre, in the New Town area. There is a taxi office at Beaconsfield Train Station.

You do not need to pre-book your train tickets from London Marylebone to Beaconsfield or to reserve seats. At peak times, the trains are sometimes standing room only.
